Most of my reported work on optimisation and search engine rankings is reported for Google. Although this is the most popular search engine in the UK, I am impressed with the way Bing.com, the Microsoft search engine which replaced MSN Search and Live Search displays its searches. By hovering your mouse near the lisiting you get a paragraph of information about the website, so you don't have to click on the site first to see if it is likely to be the website you want. Also this week it has been reported that Microsoft will be promoting Bing to all it's European customers to convert, so basically anyone who uses Microsoft software, this could be an interesting challenge to Google. The relevance is to optimise websites for all search engines, which is something I do and track. Some good news for me is, if you search for 'business consultant' on Bing, you'll find this website at the Number 1 position.

Compass Debt Counsellors asked me to review their internet marketing opportunity, my recommendations included a new design website for them, including several features to keep potential customers on the site and plenty of ways for customers to make enquiries or make contact. Lots of snow around this week and with more on the way, so for me it's going to be a good time to increase links and doing some article writing and press releases. The growth in sales for companies who have a strong internet presences continues to grow, and it isn't difficult to understand why. viability research project has been completed into an e-commerce
venture for a 'World Class' branded product, the company are looking to
